Frank Warby

Frank has lived on Moreton Hall for over thirty years and served as one of its Councillors for sixteen of those years.Frank and his wife (Cllr Patsy Warby) have both served as Mayor of St Edmundsbury in recent years.He is currently Chairman of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee and the West Suffolk Joint Health and Safety Panel.Frank also sits on the Licensing Act Sub- Committee and the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.He is the Vice_Chairman of Bury St Edmunds Town Council

Roy Barker

Roy is from a local farming family and has been the District Councillor for Badwell Ash  for 12 years. He was Chairman of the Council last year and is now Vice-Chairman. He currently sits on the following committees:            Development Committee ‘B’ (Vice-Chairman)            Planning Referrals Committee

Jill Wilshaw

Jill moved to Wyverstone 5 years ago from Aberdeen and Russia where her husband worked in the oil industry. She was a Chief Examiner for beauty, complementary and sports therapies around the world.   Now retired, she is a Volunteer Gateway Assessor at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Stowmarket, and is training to be an Adviser.  She is a triathlete, a member of the West Suffolk Wheelers Cycle and Triathlon Club and a qualified Local Technical Officer overseeing triathlon races.

Clive Springett

Clive was born in Bury and has lived here ever since.  He is a compliance Manager for BT and has been both a Borough and Town Councillor for some years. He is currently on four committees:             Joint Officer Appeals Committee            Licensing and Regulatory Committee            Overview and Scrutiny Committee

Diana Kearsley

Diana moved to Gislingham in 1993 and has been the District Councillor for the ward since 2003.Diana is on the Mid Suffolk District Executive Committee and is the Portfolio Holder for Communities. She also sits on the followingcommittees:       Planning Referrals Committee       Development Control ‘A’ Committee       Communities Programme Steering Board  

Richard Rout

Richard Rout grew up in Bury St Edmunds, attending Horringer Court Middle School, and continues to live in the town he loves. He works as a political advisor and runs his own gym and supplement firm.Richard sits on 3 committees and is a substitute member of another:               Democratic Renewal Working Party    Licensing and Regulatory Committee    Overview and Scrutiny Committee    Sustainable Development Working Party (Substitute) 

David Whybrow

David comes from a farming background and has lived locally for more than ten years. His wife, Anne,  is from Ringshall was a councillor for many years.  They have recently moved into the ward.  In May 2015 he was elected as District Councillor for Ringshall Ward and serves on the following committees:        Planning Referrals Committee        Joint Staff Consultation Committee

Wayne Hailstone

Wayne Hailstone grew up on the Horringer Court Estate before embarking on a 13-year career with the Royal Navy.  He has now returned to the town to work as a Business Development Manager for a multi-national company. He lives in the town with his wife and 3 children.Wayne was elected to the Borough Council in 2015 and currently sits on two committees, the Licensing and Regulatory Committee and the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.In May he was elected to the Bury St Edmunds Town Council

Nick Gowrley

Nick Gowrley is married to Heather and lives in Stowmarket.  In 1988, he joined Mid Suffolk District Council and worked for the council for the next 23 years. He is a Governor at the Kingsfield Pupil Referral Unit and an active trustee of the Stowmarket Citizens Advice Bureau.  In May 2015, Nick was elected to the Mid Suffolk District Council and the Stowmarket Town Council. He is the Portfolio Holder for Housing and serves on the following committees:            Executive Committee (Vice-Chairman)

Terry Clements

Terry has lived in Stanningfield all his life.  He and his wife have been married for more than 40 years and raised three children there. He is a trustee of Abbeycroft Leisure and on the Board of Suffolk Sport. On St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Terry represents Horringer and Welnetham and is a member of the Sustainable Development Working Party.Terry has represented Thingoe South on Suffolk County Council for some years and is the Member with Responsibility for: Suffolk as the Most Active County.
